The Society's Mission

The Waltham Historical Society is dedicated to fostering and supporting research in the broader and local history of Waltham. It aims to generate, or facilitate the creation of papers and records periodically focusing on subjects that hold general interest.
Archives & Textual Materials
We gather and safeguard manuscripts, documents, keepsakes, and artifacts associated with the history of our city.
Ancestral Lineages
We contribute to the compilation and preparation of various genealogies for Waltham families.
Architectural Heritage
We contribute to the conservation of buildings, monuments, and other items of historical significance in Waltham.
